My work with Moneygram has included project estimation, scoping, stakeholder management, and communicating with developers.
The Solution
Learn the Apple Pay and Google Pay guidelines, work with development teams to understand opportunities for success, and offer both options to our customers and in turn reduce the number of fraudulent and errored transactions.
The Problem
Moneygram does not currently support Apple Pay, or Google Pay.
The Process
This project was one of the first that I had during my employment with Moneygram. The first thing that I did when receiving this request from business was to first understand the send flow for Moneygram's current payment methods. After a solid understanding of this, I worked out an Apple Pay flow and gained approval from the relevant stakeholders.
With the flows approved, I moved into high fidelity and making the necessary adjustments to accommodate Apple Pay.
After Apple Pay was implemented and a success, business requested that we additionally implement Google Pay which had some further nuance to its product features. To highlight those, I again started with basic flow diagrams.
